The small size of the senior school enables staff to know each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. A major strength of the school is pastoral care as the staff get to know pupils from an early age in the primary department through to the end of the senior school.

Mrs Watt

We are delighted with the choice we made of Argyle House School for our two children. They are flourishing and the change in them is wonderful to see. The staff are all very approachable and the family atmosphere ensures any issues are overcome quickly and efficiently. As parents it is our priority to know our children are developing to their best and we have found that at Argyle House School.

I like the school because it is an inviting and friendly place. I like how there’s lots of clubs. The teachers are funny and kind. I like seeing my friends. I like how there are lots of clubs to keep active.

From the moment we first considered sending our son to Argyle House School, all our questions were answered fully and openly. Although our son (Jamie) has only been at Argyle House School for 3 weeks, he already feels that he belongs!

The induction process for our son has been smooth, well planned, stress free and has undoubtedly enabled him to settle very quickly and happily into an unfamiliar environment.

Our son is seen and valued as an individual, whom we are sure will flourish emotionally, socially and academically, in a supportive environment. Now at Argyle House School our son is once again enthused to learn.

Our child is thriving and flourishing in a positive atmosphere, where children want to learn and are encouraged and supported to do so.

We have found everyone (children, office staff, teachers, caretaker and headmaster) to be friendly, approachable, welcoming and helpful.

Everyone matters at Argyle House School!

Mr and Mrs Shaw

Argyle House School provides a broad curriculum in a friendly, safe environment for the pupils. All three sciences are taught separately and with enough depth to ensure pupils can carry their studies further if they wish. The emphasis is on practical work in the early years whilst in later years pupils are encouraged to develop their own ideas and investigations. The pupil’s attention and interest is engaged in the early years and this enables them to develop their full potential.

Mr Davies
"Your child's happiness is the key."

Argyle House School is a unique educational environment where children come willingly to learn.

We consider the happiness of the children to be the key factor to both academic and social success. Offering the children a broad based education enables them to develop and extend areas of strengths and interest.

I hope that you will find all the information you need regarding the school in this website. Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me or the school office.
