Argyle House School provides a broad curriculum in a friendly, safe environment for the pupils. All three sciences are taught separately and with enough depth to ensure pupils can carry their studies further if they wish. The emphasis is on practical work in the early years whilst in later years pupils are encouraged to develop their own ideas and investigations. The pupil’s attention and interest is engaged in the early years and this enables them to develop their full potential.

Mr Davies

From the moment we first considered sending our son to Argyle House School, all our questions were answered fully and openly. Although our son (Jamie) has only been at Argyle House School for 3 weeks, he already feels that he belongs!

The induction process for our son has been smooth, well planned, stress free and has undoubtedly enabled him to settle very quickly and happily into an unfamiliar environment.

Our son is seen and valued as an individual, whom we are sure will flourish emotionally, socially and academically, in a supportive environment. Now at Argyle House School our son is once again enthused to learn.

Our child is thriving and flourishing in a positive atmosphere, where children want to learn and are encouraged and supported to do so.

We have found everyone (children, office staff, teachers, caretaker and headmaster) to be friendly, approachable, welcoming and helpful.

Everyone matters at Argyle House School!

Mr and Mrs Shaw

The lessons in class at school are exciting. I think that school has lots of things to play with in the yard. I like all the activities. I think they are great as well as the trips. I like all the teachers I think that they sometimes are funny.

Hannah

Since Laura joined Argyle House School I am delighted with her academic progress and amazed at how easily she settled in. There are numerous additional clubs Laura enjoys and she thoroughly enjoys coming to school.

Her performance is fed back regularly and the teaching staff are approachable and on hand for any queries.

Mr and Mrs Benson

The small size of the senior school enables staff to know each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. A major strength of the school is pastoral care as the staff get to know pupils from an early age in the primary department through to the end of the senior school.
