Pastoral Care
At Argyle House School we are fortunate in that we have an incredibly kind community where staff are supporting and nurturing of all students, and because we are run on family values, each child is known to all the staff individually and cared for as if they are part of the school family.
Creating a family environment allows each child to develop self-confidence and independence. The system in place allows the staff to support and be sympathetic to every child’s needs. The staff are always readily available for consultation and advice. The children can ask any member of staff for help, but because this is such an important area for the development of the child, specific teachers have been assigned for this role to ensure that this is sensitively managed.
All members are on hand should parents or pupils need it, but our specifically trained staff are:
Mrs C Said – Head of Pastoral Care
Mr J Blair – Designated Safeguarding Lead
Mr C Johnson – Deputy Safeguarding lead
Mrs L McIntosh – Deputy Safeguarding Lead
