Year 6 Take a Trip to Beamish!

Our fantastic Year 6 class embarked on an exciting school trip to Beamish yesterday!

Their adventure kicked off in the 1950s town, where they explored how homes have transformed over the years. After that, they popped into the cinema to catch a delightful short film titled ‘Stepping Back in Time in Ryhope.’

Then it was off to the 1900s town! They visited the pharmacy, the bakery and the foreign exchange, and of course, no trip would be complete without a stop at the Jubilee sweet shop!

The day wrapped up with a visit to the school in the 1900 Pit Village, where they discovered what discipline looked like back in the day.

They all thoroughly enjoyed their trip!
