Supportive Learning
At Argyle House School, we are committed to providing comprehensive support to all pupils throughout their educational journey. Whether your child has a diagnosed special educational need (SEN) or is facing challenges with a particular subject or concept in class, we are dedicated to ensuring they receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Supported Learning:
One of the key benefits of enroling your child at Argyle House School is our smaller class sizes. This structure allows for more personalised teaching and learning, ensuring that each child receives the attention they require. For pupils who may need additional help, teachers can provide extra support either within the classroom or through smaller, focused group sessions. This tailored approach helps children grasp challenging concepts, build their confidence, and thrive academically.
We also offer dedicated learning spaces known as support bases. These spaces are specifically designed to provide individualised support in a calm, focused environment. Pupils who need further assistance can work with experienced staff in these support bases to address their specific learning goals, helping them reach their full potential.
Special Educational Needs (SEN):
Our SEN team is always available to discuss and assess the specific needs of your child. We understand that each pupil is unique, and our approach is centred on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. By working closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists where necessary, we aim to create an individualised support plan that helps your child succeed both academically and socially.
If you would like to speak with a member of our SEN team to discuss how the school can meet your child’s needs, please contact the school office at 0191 510 0726. We are always here to provide guidance and support for every child’s educational journey.
